Ron Moser Named Acting Village Manager

On Thursday evening, June 4, 2009, the Village Board designated Hanover Park’s veteran Police Chief, Ron Moser, as the Acting Village Manager to perform the duties of the manager until a Village Manager is selected by the Board. Ron Moser shall continue as the Chief of Police with the additional duties of Acting Village Manager.

Chief Moser has exceptional strategic and planning skills to serve the people of Hanover Park. In particular, Ron Moser will continue to be responsible for the continuing investigation concerning the recent homicides. Currently, the Village is focused on the goal to bring alternatives to joining gangs for youth as we seek to resolve the issues that are of major concern in the affected neighborhoods.
