A press release from the Village of Addison about a program that I was happy to participate in.

'THE MAYORS' MAKES DEBUT ON ADDISON COMMUNITY TELEVISION

Four Community Leaders Discuss Common Issues

Next week, Addison Community Television will debut a new program, featuring a panel of community leaders from the suburbs, discussing topics important in all of their municipalities.

Addison Mayor Larry Hartwig moderates the program – “The Mayors” – which will feature a rotating panel of Mayors and Village Presidents from neighboring communities. The debut program features Hanover Park Mayor Rodney Craig, Roselle Mayor Gayle Smolinski and Wood Dale Mayor Kenneth Johnson.

All of the communities are members of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference. Mayor Hartwig, who conceived the idea for the program, said he plans to highlight issues that Conference is targeting as part of their Legislative Action Plan. In this debut episode, the panel discusses declining municipal revenues, red light camera enforcement and western access to O’Hare International Airport.

“The Mayors” can be seen on Addison Community Television on Monday, Feb. 22 through Sunday, Feb. 28 each day at 5 p.m. It will also air Friday through Sunday at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 1 a.m. Addison Community Television is available on Comcast Cable Channel 6, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 and via the Village of Addison website at www.AddisonAdvantage.org/actv/live.shtml.

The program will also be available on the public access stations of the participating communities.
