Friends, neighbors and cancer survivors are invited to attend the Kick-Off celebration of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Bartlett/Hanover Park/Streamwood on February 19, 2010, 6:30-9:00pm at The Fire Barn. The 1st Chili Cook-Off with raffles to win and chili to taste, is open to everyone who wishes to form a team, help with event planning, or hear more about this year’s highlights. Advanced tickets are $5 per person (children under 2 are free), tickets at the door are $7 per person.
Relay For Life is an overnight event to “Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.” The event celebrates the lives of those who have had cancer, remembers loved ones lost to the disease and rallies individuals to fight back against a disease that takes too much.
