Although there quite are a lot of detailed Worldwide Brands reviews to be found around the Internet, there seems to me to be a shortage of simple 'FAQ' posts about Worldwide Brands and Salehoo. So to help anyone who is thinking of joining either (or both), I've compiled some popular questions about WWB and Salehoo, and answered them in this article.
Which directory has more suppliers?
Both Salehoo and Worldwide Brands have about 8,000 certified wholesalers and drop shippers listed as of June 2018.
Which directory has more products?
The answer to this is Worldwide Brands. WWB has more than ten times the number of wholesale products as Salehoo, at over 16 million compared to Salehoo's 1.5 million.
The reason this is important is that more products means not only more choice and more obscure niches (that are less likely to be 'saturated'), but that because of the greater competition the prices of comparable products in Worldwide Brands are often cheaper than in Salehoo.
Which is cheaper?
Salehoo starts off cheaper at only &67 per year, but after a few years this adds up to more than the fee to join Worldwide Brands for life ($249), so there's not a clear answer to this one.
However, in the long term, and on a per-product basis, Worldwide Brand works out to be better value for money even though it's more expensive at first.
